Alla vinnarna presenteras sedan under en ceremoni den 21 november i Stockholm under samlingsnamnet Swedish Design Awards. Båda utmärkelserna är en central del av Svensk Forms verksamhet, för att premiera bästa designen och stimulera designutvecklingen. Ung Svensk Formriktar sig till det nya och experimentella, Design S för det mera etablerade, som redan är i produktion och belönar goda och innovativa designlösningar inom alla designområden; Produkter, tjänster och miljöer.
Time to apply for entry to our award Ung Svensk Form – last date September 10. Ung Svensk Form is an award open to young and experimental design. The project was created with the aim of increasing the knowledge and widening the scope of new, innovative Swedish design; helping it reach new audiences.
A prestigious jury will select the winners, who will all be invited to participate in a touring exhibition. Three special grants of 30.000 SEK will be given, and all winners will be given some extra entrepreneurial tools and coaching. The exhibition offers designers a possibility to meet the audience and manufacturers, a chance to initiate dialogue and establish new contacts.
Svensk Form also invites designers and producers already in production to take part of our National Swedish Design Award, Design S. More info to come soon.
