Lägger in lite bilder.
If you have a chance to visit Sörmland and Stjärnhov this summer, only about one and a half hour drive south of Stockholm, be sure to visit the gallery Konst i Gryt where you can see a summer exhibition of the well known Swedish contemporary artist Maria Miesenberger Maria is a dear friend and a skilled artist, we met in Tokyo back in 1999, when she had an exhibition in the embassy where we worked an lived. At that time Maria lived in New York, and nowadays she spends her summers renting a small cottage from our family in our summer town Stjärnhov, where we all spend our spare time. Yesterday was the inauguration of the exhibition, where I was invited as a guest speaker. Amazing to see how her sculptures, man size androgynous figures in aliminium, has entered a completely new scene in the romantic landscape of Sörmland, and her acclaimed photo series Sverige/Schweden are to be read in a completely new context.
